Resilience is stability, or robustness, and in scientific terms, resilience is a system’s ability to adapt to external influences so that it remains stable.
In other words: nothing can blow your mind – nothing can throw you off track.
Resilience is a skill, which means you can learn it. Anyone can learn to remain stable and calm. Find hope, humour and confidence. Research shows that resilience is the rule, not the exception. Even children who experienced terrible things have been able to recover and now lead a good life.
